I Dream of Creating My Own Clothing Line
My name is Narges, I was born in the city of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. I am 33 years old and I have two wonderful children, a son and a daughter. When I left my homeland, I was on the island of Lesvos for 7 months, after which I came to Athens, where I have been living for 3 years.

Although most women did not work in Afghanistan, I had worked there for a time as a seamstress. When I came to Athens, I attended sewing and tailoring classes and then started working at Rain Lab. I am so happy to now have my own income and to develop professionally as I learn how to make beautiful handcrafted bags!
* Narges worked with us for 11 months. She has now left with her family and is living in France. At the farewell party we prepared for her, she told us "I dream of making my own clothing line", a dream full of hope and confidence.
